Ivory Tree Game Lodge lies in the heart of the Pilanesberg Game Reserve. The reserve is set within the crater of an ancient volcano – one of the largest of a very rare formation. This ancient configuration comes hand-in-hand with various indicators of the presence of early man in the region. This is showcased through the numerous Stone and Iron Age sites that are scattered throughout the Park.

In total we have 67 rooms ranging from standard suites all the way through to a private villa ensuring that we cater for all our guests needs.

Standard Rooms: Maximum 2 adults
Luxury Suites: Maximum of 2 adults and 2 children under the age of 12. Children sharing with adults in Luxury suites will be charged 50% of the standard sharing rate.
Family Suite: Maximum of 2 adults and 4 children under the age of 12. Sleeping configuration for children 2 Sharing in 2nd Bedroom and 2 Sharing sleeper couch in room
Executive Suite: Maximum 2 adults
Villa: Includes 4 rooms with a private pool, Private dining area, private vehicle and butler service
Children:
Children between the ages of 6 and 12 are permitted on safari at the sole discretion of the manager or guide.
Children under the age of 6 are not permitted on game drives.
Baby-sitting facilities available at R240 per hour (maximum 2 children)
Sole use vehicle is available to facilitate families at an additional cost of R4770 per vehicle per game drive
